Anyone Layin' frame?

my outlook on trucks.

2wd lower it.
4wd raise it.

as for me, ive got a 71 cs f250, 2wd. gonna lower it when i have time.

any suggestions?

my truck would lay the frame on the ground but we rised it up about inch to make sure if anything happened to the air bags it would not slam into the ground when i hauling ass.

I'm with customcrew on this I like low but see no reason to have everything moved above the rocker panels in order to be a sparkler.
I'd have to have exhaust, gas tank, and a few other goodies raised, if I went to bags. But I still might ... 5" low in front and 5 or 6 in rear without bags is about the lowest you can go. If you are doing a frame off and have the money you should look into IFS front and 4 link rear, and at that point hell go for the bags ... it's only money.

How low is yours Cacwby? I know you hace told us before but my memory is like everything else very short.

Probably 3"-4", it's enough most of the time.

cool i just picked up a 72 250 CS's bed and frame turned into trailer and the axle is 2.89:1 and the springs are wittingly strong 6 spring plus helper. Extra strong gonna put them on my f100 and the cool thing is instant rake. one Q:will this suvverly effect my stance looks like 2-4" dif in back but could be the being on trialer effect though.

Trailers always set higher-less weight. No such thing as a 2.89 gear in an F-250, the tallest (lowest numerically) is 3.54 for the Dana 60
