re: 1ST ANNUAL
It wouldn't take much to build a stretched Centurian-style conversion out of a crewcab or 2 or 3 regular cabs. Just an outstanding metalman to form the panels. Seriously though , what is the car show you are talking about Keith? Is it for multiple makes or aimed just toward Fords. It might could be scheduled along with a Mustang Club of America regional show if they would be interested in a joint venture. 64-73+ Mustangs and 67-72 ford trucks at the same show. Usually they draw other interesting Fords from the same era. Just another thought and ,yes, my head is hurting from too much thinking.

re: 1ST ANNUAL
The show is the 'Last Fling 'Til Spring', billed as the largest single-day auto event in the country. It's hosted by the Road Gems car club, of which I'm a member and official webmaster/photographer. We normally get 500-600 cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, etc. each year for an afternoon. We even have an misc. division where we get pedal cars and other oddball stuff. There's a swap meet, live entertainment, all kinds of vendors, engine-building competitions....it's really a big one-day circus!
You can read more about it by going to the Road Gems website, but I have to admit I've been slacking on the site a bit. I haven't done much with it since last year's show, but I've actually been getting started getting some updates assembled (along with a complete site redesign) to be posted shortly.

So that would be a crewcrew cab with 8 doors.
Or an octocab
Or an arachnicab.

Trialercraft in Anchorage used to have an 8 doored Chevy 4x4. It must have had an 8 inch suspension and an 8 inch body lift with 44s. I never did see it move though.
Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~
