Hey Spartman...

Nah, not passed out... I don't drink or drug anymore.
(almost 13 years now)
Just redoin' some under the dash wiring and installing the brake light switch like 3 differant times... 2 differant switches.
I'll probably have to do some more time on my back before everything is said and done... oh well... it's a bump bus and it's worth it !!!

That's cool kapt.

You could also be passed out from to many sugary drinks or hitting yourself with a large tool after it ricochets off of something.

"...a large tool after it ricochets off of something. "

Not so much anymore, but at one time......well lets just say he had a standing order at the parts house for ratchets.....
and a good thing he had a 2nd car for the parts that mysteriously became dented or broke out of his 68 Goat......

Dang bro ...

Why'd ya go and dig that up... the rachet actually, took flyin' lessons... probably 75 yards or so across the street and into the field.
I honstly didn't use it to brake out the windows of the GTO... I used a tire iron on the sucka... dang and it felt good.. well for a minute anyway until reality hit and I realized that I wuz gonna have to replace all that glass... a lesson well learned... unlike another brother we know.

Dang, you know I never did find that ratchet.. it was a good one too... an SS Winser... hehehe

Hey did ya check out the sound system in Olde Skool ? It's Bose equipped.. thanks to a little injun-nu-ity. In side the storage box, I got a couple of deep cycle batteries and a mounted 12 volt power plug. I got an inverter so I can run the Bose either ac or dc without running down the main battery...
I could take another pic for yer squeeze if it wouldmake points with her boss... I'm thinkin' surround sound .... hehehe

love ya,

"....a lesson well learned... unlike another brother we know."

You mean the one who likes to "slap" windshields and nearly put his hand in a permanant "hang loose" gesture?

Well two outa three of Ma's kids can be taught....the third....well the jury's still out...lol

Bet that Bose sounds good with the acoustics of a bump bus....

Hey Thee

yup... that be da one...

You just dang near had to bury a brother in great state of WA...
I went to NAPA today to check on getting a master cylinder for Olde Skool. They didn't have one in stock, but could get one in if I wanted it.
Then he said those famous words we all like to hear... "it's a little expensive". I'm thinkin' back to the last one I bought.. I think it was something like $30... so I'm thinkin' in the $100 range or so...
Then he said $468.00 plus shipping and tax... so a little over 5 bills.
I was going into defibulation and just about to go under, until I thought about the guy tryin' to give me mouth to mouth and I wasn't havin' noooo part of that, so I came to enough to say," How about a kit for it?" He found one in the entire country... It's gonna be $50 plus shipping and tax... I felt the blood coming back to my brain, but still could utter just two words... "Order it !!". He said it would take about 3 weeks from Georgia...at this point I'm still not able to talk much.. but I think to myself.. hmm I wonder if it's bein' shipped UBS (U be slow) or what... dang in 3 weeks I could go get the sucka myself be back and have it installed.
Was talkin' to my roomie Troy this evenin' He's got a full size Chevy/Bluebird bus, that he actually uses as a bus. (it has a 427 w/auto). He was sayin' that he'd be real surprised if I could get the brakes done for under $1000, and that's without replacing any brake drums.. that thought is a little scary... but I figure I could save up for a year and do one wheel each year or so, and I might get it done while I can still drive
well bro it's gettin' late so i gotta ...
be blessed

Don't get discourged, keep you eye on the brass ring, keep your nose to the grindstone, don't give up, keep a stiff upper lip, one step at a time.....I'll think of a couple more clichés if I try hard enough....

I had the same reaction when I filled "Old's Cool" up getting ready to go camping down in Charlston, lets just say I fianlly know for sure what the "F" stands for on the guage.....lol all it needs is the "ed" at the end...

Keep your eye on the prize....Bro...

Hey Bro...

I like that name fer yer rig... it fits

I did order the rebuild kit for the master cylinder... I also think it has a second master (slave) cylinder. I need to look on the vacuum booster tank. (It mounts under the bus) I can get new wheel cylinders at Shuck's (that's what it is here... It might be Checker or something else there) They run about $25-$30 each... multiply that by 8 since there are two wheel cylinders per wheel. ($240 plus tax title and license).
Troy's estimate of $1000 might be way low.

One thing at a time... It's goin' no where fast...

Speaking of goin' fast ... I get off work in
9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1... I'm outta here !!!
