Disc brake swap done !!!!

Post by 72stepside »

Finished it up today. What a difference!!!! No more pulling to one side. The springs from the dentside levelled out the front of the truck with out shims and washers on the passenger side (unlike what I had in there with the old suspension). New suspension bushings really tightened up the ride.

I am very pleased with the swap. I think the hardest part was collecting the new parts from the chain parts houses.

I know what you mean. Most counterman don't know what "Twin I Beam" even means.

Radius arm bushing? What's that? :?

Nick,
Hopes to do the disc brake swap as soon as he swaps in the new motor.

I've got most of the stuff to do my F350. It's easier than the F100. I just have to find the time. I'm looking forward to straight line stopping and maybe not having tyo plan ahead for my stops.
