new truck

Post by 68swb »

well i aquired a new truck thru some swapping i have done this week. it is a 69' f250 ranger. it is supposed to have a 390 in it but was told it is a 360, not measured the stroke yet, has a borg 4 spd in it but supposed to be an auto. i am rebuilding the carb on her today then i will try to get it running. i dont have any pic yet, but soon will, also dont have big plans for this truck mostly something to drive till i get my 68' going but after that who knows what will happen i will need another project.

well i put the carb on it along with a good battery, poured some gas in the carb and it fired right up. drove it around a little and it needs a lot of work, i think only the front brakes work and the trans mount is broken, but it shouldnt be a problem.
