FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY!!!

Post by lifted72 »

Hey guys, so, for a project update (sorry no photo's but it looks pretty much the same as the last pics) It should be/will be painted on friday. I Have the 351C running, and the driveline is at the machine shop. As soon as it is painted i will post some pics. I also shaved the seam in the front valance so i will take pics of that too.

Si ut us time for me to run some ideas past you guys for my interior. I want to get my door panals, healiner trim, glove box cover, ash tray cover, and the little cover for the top of the steering column chromed. Any thoughts. I also thought about powder coating, because they have really nice silver and mirror finishes. My bench seat is tuck and rolled, so i think i might tuck and roll the headliner as well. Does anybody know of any aftermarket gauge clusters?

Thanks for reading and i will post some pics asap... KYLE

Dolphin Guages offers a cluster with guages, Haneline guages offers the same, Dakota Digital is suppose to start offering guages for our trucks. The chrome work is just so expensive, but man it looks good. Below is pics of the Haneline guage kit, the second is the Dolphin, and third is the Dakota Digital.

I'm not sure. I was wanting pics and one of the members posted them for me and I saved them for reference.

I didn't shave the drip rails, just the seam in the front valance. the valance above the front bumber. I got the riveline in today and it runs and moves under its own power, thats the first time in 5 1/2 years. It is going up to the paint booth tonight, and will post some pics tomorrow when it is done.

Yeah it has to grow on you, but it is one less place for it to gather water and rust.
