New TOY!!!!

Post by widegauge »

well one is never enough, so I went out and bought a dent side, I know it is not one of "our" trucks but she is so pretty. she is a 1976 super cab 2wd camper spec. w/460 auto. the PO used it as a camper only so it is very low mils (I assume) but she is in great shape, no rust the P.O. painted under the hood and kept it pretty nice, all I really need is the seat re-done and take off some of the ugly and she will shine like a diamond.

I know I am a sucky friend every since I have been working 12 hr shift friday-monday(yeah I would over the weekend) I haven't got to go out and play. but some day I plan on getting over there and seeing whats new with shark.

I couldn't believe that I found it is as good of shape as it was, all she needed was a carrier bearing, steering box seal, and a new steering wheel ( ok it didn't NEED a steering wheel but if looks better now) and then I added the MSD 6AL for a little pep. and then put my CB in it. other then that runs like a BEAST. thirsty little sucker though!

:hmm: Try a bump crew with specail ordered 12' foot flatbed on it! Now theres something long!

Nice lookin' trucks guys. I want to have a Bump 4x4 crew cab(anything less trhan 4x4 for me would be just unusable as a crew) And another super cab f150 or 250 76-79.

I had a Brown and Banana(yellowish) Creme Extended cab 150 ranger Xlt that if it had a better cab woulda got the engine trans from the 72 ranger xlt i had while i did a build up on it.
